How to clear mail queue in Synology

there is no option in admin interface to clear mail queue, the only way I found is via ssh, suppose you are connected to synology with ssh (root):

  1. I’m receiving an error :

    postsuper: not found

When I do an LS in dir : /var/packages/MailServer/target/sbin/
    I see the postsuper

    Please advise !

  2. the simple way is to make a symbolic link of postsuper to /usr/bin/, ex:
    $nl -s /var/packages/MailServer/target/sbin/postsuper /usr/bin/postsuper

but normally, you don’t need to do it.

  3. -s not found. I have the same problem. I can see postsuper, but get a message: postsuper not found. Logged in as Root.

  4. Just found out:
    When I do “cd /var/packages/MailServer/target/sbin”
then the command postsuper -d ALL gives the error: postsuper: not found.
    When I do “cd /”
then the command “/var/packages/MailServer/target/sbin/postsuper -d ALL” works!
    weird isn’t it…..

  5. you have to type:

    ./postsuper -d ALL

to execute the binary file if you are in /var/packages/MailServer/target/sbin folder.

  6. Hello,

MailServer does not send mails via SMTP port 25 (mx-eu.mail.am0.yahoodns.net []: 25: Connection timed out
    I’m DSM 4.2-3202 on DS3611xs
When I try to telnet any 25, connection timed out !
    Do you have any idea?

  7. have you enabled portforward for 25 in your router ? as well as telnet function in DSM ?
